This Privacy Policy describes the ways in which TasStudios ("Company", "we" or "our") collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from our visitors and/or customers (collectively, "Customer", "you" or "your") through the use of the Company's website.
TasStudios is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. TasStudios may collect information from its customers at several different points on this website, as needed to service our customers, as outlined below.
Cookies
There are two types of cookies related to the web browsing experience. Neither cookie type contains any personally identifiable information. A temporary cookie, technically known as a Session Cookie, is one that your browser sets by default to communicate your browsing experience between you and the server. These session cookies are automatically destroyed when you close the web browsing session on the TasStudios site.
The second cookie type is known as a persistent cookie. In general, this website does not use persistent cookies to function properly.
What information do we collect?
We request information from the user on our order forms. To service our Customer accounts, here a user must provide contact information (email, name, and telephone number). This website will not collect financial information (credit card number, expiration date, bank information). Additionally, the user IP is recorded in the account creation process. This information is used to prevent fraudulent or fake account creation. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. We use a high encryption SSL certificate for securely gathering the requested information. TasStudios do not store credit card information or code for your security reasons.
While ordering on or registering to our website, as appropriate, users may be asked to enter their name, email address, telephone number, and delivery address. In addition, when placing an order, users may be asked to enter credit card information. Card card information is not stored or used in any way other than to pass the data to a third party agency to process the transaction. We only conduct business with third party agencies who hold the same values as we do, and that is to protect our users, their data and information.
Log Files
Log files automatically collect certain types of information related to user web browsers, including their IP addresses. We use IP addresses to analyze trends and help provide an insight into how visitors transition from one page to another so we can optimize the visitor experience, and gather broad demographic information like the type of web browser, for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are used in defensive measures to block known fraudulent users or site attackers/hackers from using our website as means to cause harm.
What do we use your information for?
Any information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
Newsletter
If a visitor wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you access your personal information. In particular limited access to said data.
This website takes every precaution to protect our visitors' information. When visitors submit sensitive information via the website, the information is protected both online and off-line.
When our order form(s) asks visitors to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form(s), the lock icon in the Web browser becomes locked. TasStudios has taken additional steps to ensure SSL encryption is used at all times when browsing our site.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
TasStudios' website and services are not intended for, nor designed to attract, individuals under the age of 18. Hostek does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any person under the age of 18.
When paying by Credit Card, upon initial payment, you will be required to enter the CVV code for the card. We do NOT store this code or the credit card number. It is only asked for this once.
Special Offers
We send all new accounts an email providing new account information. Established customers will occasionally receive information on new services and/or special promotions. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our website policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
